The participation of different countries makes our trade fair truly international! Till now a whopping 20 countries have participated in the mega trade fair since its inception. Every year, we witness an increase in the number of stalls and products by these countries. International products are a huge attraction for the visitors as well as for the buyers, sellers, and investors of the Indian market. So, here are a few of the international products that visitors can buy at IIMTF!
1. Afghanistan- Carpets, Dry Fruits and Onyx Marbles
Afghanistan has been one of the major participants at IIMTF. The majestic Afghanistan carpets catch the eye of every visitor at the exhibition. In addition to this, the statues and vases of onyx marble will completely change the interior of your house making it look like a palace! Not to forget the authentic Afghanistan dry fruits like dates, almonds, apricots, figs, walnuts, saffron, and raisins.

We have the traditional Dhakai jamdani saree and Kantha stitch saree from our eastern neighbors. The Iranian exhibitors bring a variety of products to IIMTF. They have a lustrous collection of jewelry from rings to necklaces. They also have different bedsheets, cushion covers, and carpets made of Termeh – a luxurious Persian handwoven fabric. The visitors can feast their eyes on the Iranian saffron considered to be one of the best saffron in the world! For the ones with sweet cravings, make sure to buy the Iranian honey, sweets, and chocolates before they go out of stock.
6. Lebanon- Handmade Jewelry
The intricate collection of Lebanese handmade jewelry is made of brass, copper, and stone. This includes a variety of bracelets, rings, necklaces, pendants, and earrings. The specialty of this jewelry is that it doesn’t change color or tarnish.
7. Tunisia- Olive Wood Handicrafts, Ceramic Products and Handbags
The Tunisian wooden handicrafts are handmade and made of olive wood. These unique wooden handicrafts come in different sizes and shapes. Apart from high mountain peaks, our neighbor from the north is also known for its pashmina. The Nepalese pashmina is used for shawls, stoles, and scarves. Nepal’s civilization goes back thousands of years, encompassing a lot of statues, masks, and other antiques. Apart from clothing and antiques, the visitors can also buy rudraksha.
