Major highways that pass through Lucknow are NH25, NH28, and NH56. Buses for Lucknow are easily available from Varanasi, Allahabad, Kanpur, Agra, Jhansi, Delhi, and other nearby cities.
Lucknow Railway Station at Charbagh is the main railway station. It links Lucknow with the rest of India via a good number of trains. Several other railway stations like Alamnagar, Gomti Nagar, and Aishbagh junction also serve the city.
Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport is located nearly 14 km from the city and accommodates many domestic flights which connect it to various major cities of India.
